Anyone here plays/played this? It's an untraditional 3D fighting game with robots from various Gundam series. As far as I know, it's really popular in Japan, being very close to #1 profitable game in arcades there. It never recieved a release outside of Japan, though, sadly.

It's a really interesting game though, it combines mechanics from games like Armored Core/Zone of the Enders with traditional fighting games like Street Fighter. It's also a game that's very easy to pick up, and anyone can have fun with it, regardless of skill, even though competitive play is obviously way more demanding. :) The only thing that can be seen as a downside is that, because it was designed for arcades, and because of it's style of gameplay, it can't be played locally on one console..

It's also gonna recieve a new, updated version called Full Boost early next year. :)

Gundam is one of those things that is really hard for me to keep up with. Is this the one that uses the same engine as Dynasty warriors, because if so then yes, i really like those types of games, and it's too bad that it's hard to be a fan of these types of things on the west.

Nope, I have not played the series. I heard about a free to play game that was launched an year ago, but on't know much about the series.

Nope, that's a different series. Shin Gundam Musou, I think. This one is an arcade fighting game (/watch?v=nzBnUXryDEs on youtube)

It's not really hard to be a fan per-se, it only costs more than usual. My copy of EXVS was $40, and that was in Best edition (their equivalent of PS Essentials).. But oh well. :) At least Full Boost is going to be on PSN, so the cost splitting will be easy.
