Music Unlimited not connecting

I'm trying to connect to Music Unlimited but I am getting a can't connect in your region error. I am in Canada and using a VPN to get an american IP and the service is available in both regions. Any reason for this?

The app may not be region free even if the console is. Let me try and let you know what i find out.
