My confession - help me

Well guys,

I was fairly vocal when it came to AW reveal trailers but then during August, the worst happened, they revealed the AW MP trailer and I cracked.

A week after the MP trailer was revealed.....I went and Pre Ordered the Atlas Pro Edition.

I think I need help, every year I say I'll stop and that I hate the CoD games as I believe the series has stagnated but when I saw the footage, I couldn't resist.

I think I need help...

To be fair, I'd say this game actually looks like something worth getting excited over, especially compared to Ghosts. I'm excited for that sporty MP mode with the ball. It's so simple yet looks like so much fun. I only know the gist of the story, and I'm excited for Kevin Spacey's role in the campaign. Either way, the game can only be solid at worse, even if it's the same old CoD as before. The mechanics changes are cool, and getting under water, as opposed to just dropping dead the second you get wet, was a surprise that I like from the trailers. I'm excited for the game. Don't feel bad about pre-ordering it. ;]

Happens with a bunch of people I reckon. I'm not much of a COD guy at all. To me, the last great game was Modern Warfare 2 (although nothing beats COD4). The rest have been just been the same with slight enhancements. But Advanced Warfare does look like it has finally got potential to be different and stand out from the rest of the series. I haven't seen the trailer/gameplay for Multiplayer as of yet, I'm just judging on what I've seen via the campaign.

Although I've been wrong before...

I max prestiged on Black Ops,MW3 and Black Ops 2,but only once on Ghosts, havent played it for ages now.
That pretty much says what I think of Ghosts.

However I am hoping AW will reignite by interest in CoD. Ive pretty much almost had a break from CoD for most of the year so look forward to the new one.
While campaigns have always been average for me I do look forward to the SP campaign on AW. Sledgehammer say it's longer than most this time.

So come November I will have to rally up my clan as many have now switched to PS4 as well and see if we can get back into CoD.
We sure had some late nights on previous CoD games, and playing with clan mates is a whole lot more fun that going solo all the time.Keeps your interest up in the game.

I don't think I've been excited about a Call of Duty game since Modern Warfare 2 was coming out either. The game play looks really sick and so does the campaign. The campaign in the older call of duty games was kind of short so I'm excited to see this Call of Duties extended campaign and for Kevin Spacey's role likewise. I didn't even prestige once in Ghosts and didn't even want to and i didn't really like Black Ops and Black Ops 2 so I'm really siked for this game to finally be released because the multiplayer trailer kind of looks like Modern Warfare 2 which was by far my favorite Call of Duty game.
