At time of writing I'm a 33 year old human gamer, living in the Lake District area (thats North East England, United Kingdom), but originally from the North East of England. Like many I am not new to the so called art of Video Games. I have been gaming for as long as I remember way back when the ZX Spectrum was the top of the range gaming machine...

My first console was the Atari 2600 and I've had pretty much everyone since then..

The first game I played on the PlayStation One (which is still voted one of the best games made) is Final Fantasy VII. After going through that I enjoyed various other games on the system..

Obviously being a avid Gamer I've hopped between systems to play the games I most wanted to play. Currently I'm on PS4, PS Vita and the iMac.

At the moment games I play most are:

• Minecraft (PS4, PS Vita and iMac)
• Rocket league
• Batman Arkham Knight

Away from gaming I enjoy various movies ( sci-fi / horror / fantasy ), TV Shows ( Arrow / Gotham / Flash ), still watch cartoons, even with my kids. Also paint / collect / play the games workshop games primarily Warhammer 40k.

Released in 1977 but I know many people had them in the early 80's.
You must have been 3 or 4 years old then when you started.Or maybe you started in your early teens and the console was already 10 years old?
Just curious is all.
I was in my early teens when they were popular,my mate had one and I always wanted back then but I had a Hanimex system.

Thanks alex and Oberon.. I was about 4 when started gaming. As for the Human gamer thing its reference to show called Invader Zim.
