hey guys i need some help im making a scuff controller and have run into a problem...on previous ps4 controllers the pcb board inside the controller had numbers on it and under the 3 was where the x o button points were..but i have just purchased a new ps4 controller and the board in completely different and i have no idea where the x o button points are...so how can i find out this info?

watch video series from ELECTRONIC TRUTH. This is what i used to make my scuf style....actually made 2 1 with buttons and 1 with paddles. if you have good eyes you can follow the traces yourself. thats what I did because i wanted an extra reload button, not jump. 1 piece of advice.... BE CAREFUL! these TP points are EXTREMELY small. I bricked the 1st controller i tried this on. I accidentally shorted 2 adjacent trces and the controller crapped out and none of the buttons would work. since then ive gotten very good at the scraping and soldering.

I came to this thread expecting something software or game related, but you desire something I have no experience in. I have some experience in PC modding, and a few of those skills transfer over to consoles, but I don't mod games or the console at all, just because of the potential legal ramifications from Sony or game companies if I'm caught.

yea ive seen his video but the pcb board you can see in the pictures are the new pcb boards inside the controller they are different to the ones in the utube vid...thats why i need to find out where the x o points are to modify...i dont think anyone has got around to modding these new pcb boards yet as i cannot find any info..
