Need help in calibrating TV for PS4

Help needed guys.. so I have a 26" samsung lcd tv. While playing some games in ps4 , I feel that the colors are too bright sometimes . Then I realized I cant keep the same settings as I had for my cable tv. Here are my current settings
Mode - standard
backlight - 8/10
contrast - 95
brightness - 50
color - 50
Sharpness - 20
Color - 50
dyanmic contrast/black tone/flesh tone/edge enhancement/noise filter/motion plus - Off
White balance - everything 25
Color space - native
Gamma - 0
Color tone - Normal
HDMI black level - Low
in games like gta V and far cry the colors are very bright which really spoils the experience.. So if anyone knows what settings to keep please help

I would start by lowering your contrast. Do it while the game is on so you can fine tune it to your liking.

That contrast seems kind of high. I would start by lowering the contrast. You can always adjust the brightness up if it gets too dark.

The number settings on one TV might if used on another brand may show diff results so I dont think we can just comment on changing those number settings.
Most TV's have a 'set up calibration' option and I think for the most part they work quite well.
But yes,for gaming diff settings may be needed than for TV or movie watching.

I suggest just go from your normal settings and tweak as you go. Its a case of trial and error for most of us too.

an even better option is to do a gogle search for a HD tv calibration disk. several companies make one and they are used to adjust the settings in general, contrast, color, tint and brightness. they arent that expensive and you can use them on any tv in your house. you will be amazed by the difference of the picture.

Yeah, I have to agree with others. TV calibration can be tricky and it does vary by brand. It also takes a keen eye (its easy for me because I used to be a pro photographer so subtle changes in color and contrast, my eye is trained for it). I can post my numbers from my Insignia TV for my PS3 and PS4 and they work phenominal for me. On your TV, they probably will look like utter crap. And you can't use the settings for cable TV either for gaming or visa versa. I copied my settings from my PS3 to Cable, and it just looked crazy. Contrast looked high and the colors were all wacky. The other way around (TV settings to gaming), the colors and contrast were completely flat.

Just by looking at your numbers though, it looks like the contrast is high (unless it goes up to 200. 95/100 seems like ridiculously high to me). I wouldn't touch the white balance or gamma. In my experience, you don't really need to and it throws off the look of the display.

Maybe you can also check out a Samsung forum (or a HDTV forum). I'm sure others with your model or model like it will have experience and they can share their numbers with you
