Octodad: Dadliest Catch will not be available on PS4 until April, and an Xbox one version is now being considered.

The news comes courtesy of developer Young Horses via the game's official Twitter. The indie title was originally expected to land on PS4 in March.

Bummer, I was holding out on the PC version so that I would have something new to play on my PS4. Hopefully the added time in the delay is put to good use and all the possible bugs are worked out completely. I suppose on the bright side I'll have Infamous to keep me busy until this launches in April. Are you guys looking forward to playing this? Sound off in the comments below!

I didn't even know there was a PS4 version planned…!

I have seen one of my favourite YouTuber's do a quick walkthrough of 'Deadliest Catch' and I must admit for what it is, I thought it was a cracking game. Certainly something I'd like to play myself. Sure, it does have a few minor graphical and physical glitches but it's something I can overlook. I put gameplay above little faults in just about any game, anyway!

From what I saw of it, it looks like one of those games just about every age group would enjoy. That's quite a rare thing to achieve.

As I'm not planning on getting a PS4 for at least another month anyway, so this delay works out quite well for me! I sincerely hope it's something that's available on disc as when I do get one, I will be a complete and utter novice to this online business…
