Oculus Rift for Xbox One and PS4 not a focus for developers | Attack of the Fanboy

Although First Person Shooters may be some of the most highest selling games right now, the developers of Oculus Rift have recently stated that right now they have no interest in developing for the PS4 and Xbox One. Instead, they will focus on the mobile market as they feel it has a much higher rate of expansion while consoles only upgrade every 7 or 8 years.

Oculus Rift seems for like a computer device anyways considering it allows more freedom and for easier playing. I mean anyone who developes a game on the computer can allow people to try it online for free and it'll be easily accessible. While creating games for the console would take much longer and possiblely be unable to properly allow such development to take place.

I heard some high ranking sony CEO's are toying with Oculus Rift and PS4.
I'm sure we will see something for the consoles before you know it.
