Oculus Rift on PS4

To those who doesnt know, Oculus Rift is a new really low cost virtual reality headset.

Do you think Sony will implement this in the future on PS4?

I have read an article that EA has already noted that they will look at Battlefield 4 to be supported? Do you think it will really happen?

What are your thoughts about it guys?

I've heard of it but I don't really know much about it. From what I've seen, the graphic display is not too bad if you consider the technological limitations of today. However, I think it is still a far cry from being ready to handle the more intensive games like Battlefield 4. I think Sony would consider implementing it in the future when improvements are made, maybe when they make PS5?

I hope they do.
The Oculus Rift sounds amazing, and a lot of people are pumped about it.
It would probably bring them some extra sales if they add it.

If Sony sees that a lot of game developers are embracing the Oculus Rift, then there's a big possibility that the VR headset would be integrated. But as of now, only a few developers are making games for the device. We'll have to wait and see how it performs on the PC and the Android Market. If it does well, we'll probably see it on the PS4 as well.

Even on the PC, I have a feeling that it appeals to a niche group of gamers only. This would probably prevent it from ever being integrated with a console, as the types of people (in my opinion anyway) are more likely to be PC than console gamers. This is a shame because I think the technology sounds quite fascinating.

I have heard about this and it sounds really good. I think it will only appeal to a niche amount of gamers though. I really don't think it will be out with the release of the PS4. If it is going to be released, then it will be some time after the initial release of PS4. It sounds great though! I hope they price it reasonably if it becomes a reality.

Seeing that Sony just blatantly stole the Wiimote concept, they should just do the same with the Oculus Rift, because i wouldn't mind at all! Just hope that they make it affordable...
