Online friends

Just wondering how many of you guys play online with friends on a regular basis. What I mean is do you play with the same person online. If so how do you find them or contact them to play together. The ps3 just seemed easier to me to connect and start playing online together. Is it because of the lack of games that have a user friendly interface to allow it ?

I must admit since getting PS4 I have hardly played with any online friends,mainly cause most havent got a PS4 yet.
And when I do its usually CoD games with my clan mates.
With PS3 and CoD Black Ops 2 many of us did this all the time,but now with Ghosts on PS4 and even PS3 there are just not as many people playing it like there was with Black Ops 2.
