Personalising your PS4 and controller

Hi ALL,

I have been following PS4Experts on Facebook and have recently seen photos of customised PS4 consoles and DS4 controllers. I was just wondering if anyone has tried to 'customise' their PS4 by either vinyl wrapping it or their controllers....?

There are some amazing photos of a couple that look wrapped as I do not believe there are any 'Limited Edition' PS4 consoles out there yet....but I may be proved wrong on here.

I must stress that I have nothing against the standard black conole BUT the possibilities are endless whith regards to personalising your console if you want to stand out from the crowd.

I have been looking at various sites offering wraps with various designs and like the idea of possibly having the Call of Duty skull in white against the black of the console....hmmmmm......

I'll keep you posted if I find something I would like to use on my console.

ATVB!

David.

I don't think I'd ever put any kind of decal or anything like that on PS4 console, but I've thought about trying to customize my Dualshock 4 controller. When the Playstation 4 was first released, there were a lot of people customizing their controllers by taking them apart and painting the main piece and then reassembling them. I'm worried that I would mess it up somehow, but they look really cool. Here's an example:

what sucks is Ive already scrathed the shiny part on the console in several places and all that iv e put on there is game cases

That yellow controller looks sick. Sony should start making colors like that :D

I'd actually pay good money for a yellow controller!

The only official controllers that I've seen that are not the standard black are these two.

This is what my ps4 currently looks like. Good old school nes style

I just recently picked up a PS4 and a Blue controller. I really like the color. It also seems built better than the standard Black one that came with the system.

I have to say, that looks pretty cool. But when you play FPS games, what advantage is it to have triggers for the X and O buttons? I mean, when I play, my finger is already on the X button and I can hit the O button with the side of my thumb.

When I play FPS games, my thumbs are on the sticks. I can jump and knife/crouch using the paddles instead of taking my thumb off the right stick, which by default in most FPS games, is used for aiming. My thumb is no where near the X button when its on the right stick.

You know what? You have a point. Now that I think about it, I can see the advantage of having those buttons on a paddle. Though let me throw this out. Does modding controllers like this give an unfair advantage to the average gamer?
