PS4 DMZ question

Hey all, I'm looking to DMZ my PS4 to improve online play. If I set a static IP for the PS4 and set that IP as the DMZ server in my router settings, does that put other devices using that router at risk or is the risk strictly confined to the set IP? Thank you in advance for any insight!

what he said. may i ask if you are using wifi or are you wired? you probably wont notice much difference doing this as i tried it with my ps3.
