PS4 Friend Notifications may be coming very soon!

Finally!

Looks like, according to the video embedded below, that Sony have finally listened to the community and implementing Friend Notifications. So now you'll be able to see when your friends sign in or out. Which to be honest, should of been there since day one. But hey.

Was that notification though not just someone joining a party, I couldn't tell because I didn't put it into full screen/didn't have my glasses on but that's what it looked like.

I do hope we do get that option back though, while it isn't a major deal, it is annoying to have to check your list every 10 minutes to see if a buddy is on.

Until this is mentioned, I didn't even notice, lol. But now thinking about it, yeah. I can't believe they left that out. I guess I just never noticed because they pop up so much on my PS3 I just learned to ignore it. But yeah, Derri, I agree. I do find myself checking my friends list every 20 minutes to see if someone logged into Destiny.

You would think such a basic thing like that would be already in launch consoles,not over a year later.

I think the best feature about this is actually the Share play instead of knowing when someone logs in. All those pop ups are annoying anyways. It might have already existed in the notifications area.

And you have so many apps to see who is online while playing so you can always keep check anyways.
