PS4 now officially on sale in Japan

Thats right,the PS4 is now officially available in Japan at a price of 39,980 yen (USD $390).

The PS4 is now available in 49 countries worldwide and has sold over 5.3 million units as of February 8. This number will only increase now that the system is available in Japan.

Sony celebrated the PS4 launch in Japan with a special midnight launch event featuring speeches from various Sony executives as well as game designers like Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima.

This is great news for the people over seas. The PS4 has been doing so well here in the states it makes me wonder how it'll do over there. I'll give it a week or two until we get some sales figures.

In Japan? Sony always does well in Japan ofcourse,and Im pretty sure it will EASILY outsell the xbone,probably more than 2-1 like in US.More like 5-1 at least.

I would say 5-1 is very accurate given Xbox's history in Japan.
