PS4 Painfully Slow Internet Connection (HELP)

First of all this is my first time on the site so if I´ve done something wrong, please enlighten me...

On to the question:
So i've got my new PS4 a couple of days ago and I am unable to play Battlefield 4 at all without lag and freezes ever couple of minutes, so I've decided just not to play that game...
But now I am downloading a update for Warframe witch is 3,025 MiB and i have been downloading it for about an hour and its still only on 1%

It says that its downloading 201,691 B/s but how can this be?
I cant even open my profile settings while downloading

Is this normal?

Does anybody know how to fix it?

Please help me!!

Sounds like a little more than a bad Internet connection. There might be something wrong with your PS4, perhaps the software. Anyways, try unplugging the console for a minute or two and then plugging it back in. If that doesn't solve the problem, then someone else is hopefully going to have a better response.

I'm sorry man. Anything downloading at B/s is never good. Sounds like there is either a problem with the Playstation 4's network card, an issues with the ethernet cable, or a bandwidth issue on your network. Are you using WiFi? Is anyone else using your internet connection, and if so, are they streaming or torrenting?

I've had problems with a terrible wifi signal with my PS4 in the past and did some things from this article to help my connection a lot. But as others have said, the PS4 might be defective.
