PS4 Portable Projector

Hearing news of the portable projector from Sony got me excited but after reading more than a few articles it seems that a lot of people aren't too impressed by it. So I did some digging into other pico projectors around the same price range that it's competing with and right now I'm not sure what Sony was thinking. Here's a few projectors out there that might be better than the Sony MPCL1.

Ok the Optoma is a bit more expensive but you're getting 500 lumens! Do you guys think the Sony projector is better just because it's laser? Here are a couple of the articles I read

I tried but since I just registered they don't allow it. Have you gamed on a projector? I'm thinking about getting one of the ones listed but looking into bigger ones also.

Ah. Didn't realize it was limited.

I did once. An old buddy of mine redid his basement in his parents house and shelled out an insane amount (like a grand or two) on a really good projector. It looked really good. I don't know much about them. Just know you get what you pay for according to him. Get a cheap projector, crappy results. It needs to be able to do a high resolution and very good contrast ratio if I remember what he said correctly. You also need a good amount of space.
