PS4 vs PC

In terms of graphics and raw power, then PC is always ahead.
The advantage of the PS4 is the games that will come out as exclusives and also not having to worry about whether your PC can handle certain games, you always know your PS4 runs all the games.

I definitely prefer a PC. But I'm the type who prefers to play games on consoles and who prefers to use computers for other things. Some people, like my brother, for example, think completely differently though.

Of course PC is technically superior and PCs will improve over the next 10 years whereas the PS4 will now stay the same. This only tells part of the story, with console gaming I don't need to worry about whether my motherboard is good enough or if I will be able to run any new games, I can just sit down, relax and enjoy 10 years of great games. On top of this I couldn't miss the great exclusives that the Playstation has bought me over the past 20 years.

Like someone above said, you can't really compare the hardware and technology in a PS4 (or Xbox One, for that matter) with a PC that is similarly priced. That said, I think PCs will always win out one way or another. They're just more practical across the board. That isn't to say that consoles aren't awesome, though; I would prefer playing games on consoles rather than computers any day of the week.
