PS5 charging station

I'm getting a PS5 and two controllers. I'd like to get a Sony charging station but those are hard to find. Amazon has some other brands of chargers but I'm wondering if they are any good. Or should I just use the cord and a adaptor to plug the USB cord in to the electric outlet like I do with my PS4 controllers?

Just use the USB cord that comes with the PS5 to charge your controller from the actual PS5 console, at least for now until the charging station is available.

Those 3rd party ones do not have a power supply. So they either need to be plugged into the PS5 anyway, or you have to provide a usb charger. Aside from that I don’t know how good they are, but I’m skeptical. The official one is really nice and I’d suggest waiting for it and use the cable in the mean time.

Thanks for the help. The cable is working Ok for now. Will wait and see when the Sony charger is in supply.

Use brickseek and check walmart from there multiple walmart’s had them in stock but online they was not 7 was in stock
