PS5 keeps starting in safe mode

Hi all,
So I just got my PS5. I have the disc version because the old school in me still gets a kick out of cracking open that fresh case. Anyway, I put in Spider Man (the ultimate edition although I haven’t downloaded the remastered version) I played for about an hour and then put the system in rest mode. The next day, I turn it on and the system keeps starting in safe mode. I’ve had to manually update the software via the USB method and it brought the system back up but now I have to input all of my internet information in again etc etc. i read online that there is a storage glitch with Spider Man, so I tried AC Valhalla...SAME ISSUE! Anyone have any idea what’s happening to me?! I literally can’t turn my PS5 off...if I do, it’s starts in safe mode and I have to re-set up everything!

Thanks. However my system starts in safe mode. Doesn’t even give me the option of the title screen unless I reset the system and reinstall the software update

some users are already reporting problems. PS5 rest mode reportedly has major issues, storage problems caused the console to crash in Rest Mode

Yup! I have to re-install my software via a USB anytime I want to play something on PS5. It’s frustrating!
