FGS! we know Shambolic PSN is down they ain't getting penny from me for their PlayStation Plus it's strange i got a 12 month PlayStation Plus yesterday which i made the best ever decision by not renew my PlayStation Plus it runs out next month i hope PSN goes bust because it's not worth a penny hence me not paying them £40 that's all they are worth nothing pennyless PSN has the worst security ever in my life well Sony your Shambolic service has made the news with BBC News & Sky News XBOX ONE is coming down in price anyway so the sooner i get of this Shambolic service the better i have a Tablet now so there's plenty of free online apps from the App Store no doubt in 2015 more will have moved to XBOX LIVE
PSN is a Shambles i'm that cheesed off with this Shambolic service i'm not renewing my PlayStation Plus subscription when normal service returns i got a 12 month PlayStation Plus subscription which i decided to permanently stop renewing my PlayStation Plus subscription it probably sounds like a hissy fit to others but when your patience has completely ran out & PSN has millions of maintenances in a year in the end you just can't be bothered with PSN anymore a good point though why pay for something that doesn't work meaning PSN? Hopefully your patience is better than mine because mine has ran out
Just another thing I'd like to say about this whole PSN outage.
Sure this whole thing sucks and you might feel you need to be compensated with free games or what not, but is it really necessary to attack Sony, when we all know it was a malicious attack by some gutless keyboard warriors who can't afford big trucks to compensate for their "short-comings" so they do this instead and for what purpose? E-peen?
Please be aware that the people at Sony are working really hard on this - ON CHRISTMAS. They are giving up spending time with their families and friends to fix this FOR YOU. So cut them a little slack guys. There are other things to do then play video games.
One last thing, ask yourself this. Would you blame the bank if it was robbed?
This is Sony's fault. This is not an isolated one time incident. I put up with not having access to my PSN for over a month when I had the PS3. Sony's main computers for the film industry were hacked just a week or so ago and now Sony has the PSN hacked again.
I managed to buy 3 games on Christmas day but the downloads failed. I have several games I cant play because they require the PSN login. Sony will not refund my money as I can buy all the game but Madden 15 for my Steam PC,
Also, Microsoft got their servers back u quicker.
The biggest mistake Sony made was still selling games even though they knew people were unlikely to have them downloaded. Sony should have put a big notice when you try to enter the PSN store on your PS4 that their network has been attacked with a DDoS and they are taking the network down until it is resolved.
Sony just tries to ignore the situation and they wont even give refunds. It is funny how they managed to charge credit cards when nothing else works.
Sony's reputation is getting very bad because they are always a dollar short and a day late with it comes to matter of security and they do nothing to reimburse the end user. Yes they gave out free games I already owned a few years ago when PSN was last hacked.. This should be a situation where many people lose their job at Sony and Sony gives any $60 game to free for PSN members,

Here's what I know from the research I've been doing...
- The morons at Lizard Squad took down PSN and XBox Live.
- They only stopped when Kim Dotcom paid them off.
- Sony still hasn't gotten their servers back up yet; Microsoft's are back up mostly
- Microsoft owns and runs their own servers, yet I read that Sony leases theirs from Cisco
Based on my own knowledge about networking (I'm a 20+ year IT tech and programmer), it sounds to me like Cisco's network sucks and needs to be rebooted, and it's very possible that if they're (likely) running Windows, many of those servers are probably hosed. I'm guessing Microsoft, being the maker of Windows, has contingencies for this, since they know all too well what garbage their OS is.
Which brings me to this topic... one of the main reasons these DDoS attacks happen is because of all the security holes in Windows. Not on the servers; rather on individual's PCs. The ones that end up with malware that allows these hackers to quietly send out the network traffic that brings down business sites like PSN, without the PC's owner even being aware of it. So, really, you can thank Microsoft for this mess.
Meanwhile, I'll continue to sit here on Christmas break NOT playing video games. Grumble.

That doesn't make sense, though. He said if they mess with it again at all, he'll terminate the vouchers. So the supposed buyers would have to know this as well.
In any case, I'd like to know WTF the feds are doing... they should be tracking these bastards down and nailing them.
