Sony leases their servers from Cisco the moderators know their stuff so expect more Shambolic services & more maintenances in 2015 it would explain why PSN has triple maintenances & PSN takes longer before normal services are resolved apparently Microsoft has their own servers so if Lizard Squad were at it again XBOX LIVE wouldn't be down as long a Shambolic PSN

Sorry i forgot to add i've decided not to renew my PlayStation Plus subscription anymore i got a Tablet for Christmas so i'll be playing online on it i'm sick of this Shambolic service PSN Sony no way on Earth you'll ever get another penny from me NEVER!!!!!!!

You buy a PS4 for the graphics and games, a tablet is just a big phone with the phone part missing its not a games machine, good luck with that.

Until the next time at least they won't be getting £40 of my own money out of my pockets anymore more fool you the PSN users for given in to Sony everytime i see right though them i think the negative comment referring to someone moaning & swearing in Irish is aimed at me PSN users are the most ignorant people on Earth that's official i have a better lifestle now i own a Tablet so i can play online whithout the worry of being booted offine on my Tablet the lease servers that Sony DON'T own Sony lives in the Dark Ages they rather lease servers from Cisco then invest in their own servers

You have made it clear in numerous threads you will not be renewing, the rest of us while inconvenienced will put it down to a bad day at the office for Sony and XBL and carry on as before.
We are not giving in to Sony and do not call us fools, the only fool here is you, you are going to stop playing on-line just because servers were down for a few days how short sighted can you get, enjoy your shite graphics and piss poor game play on your tablet , i bet you are at this moment pricing up an Xbox and have no intention of giving up console gaming, do us all a favour and stop preaching we know your thoughts on this and we don't need or want to read the same old same old from you, do us a favour and let it go.

mine was up but its back down. at least i can upload on youtube, see my freinds and talk to them, and my trophies but still no online play. (insert bummer emoticon here)

got home and got on my ps4 and the shit is down again wtf psn why is it down again you better give something for free this is bullshit
I was just on both my PS3 and PS4 and signed right in. Hey EVIL, this is gonna sound really dumb but try this. All day I couldn't get on when it was in Rest Mode. I took it out of Rest and then chose the shut down option for a few hours (mostly because I forgot I did, lol). When it's in Rest Mode, it still has a constant internet connection to PSN for updates and stuff. I think if it's fully shut down, it will reset the internet connection. I dunno if it will work or not, if my theory is correct or your area is just still messed up but worth a try.

I don't see the problem with paying a yearly fee to play PS4 online. Out of the past 365 days PSN was down what maybe a total of 5-6 days (probably even shorter)? If you really think about it that's not that long of a time period. Shit happens sometimes and you just gotta have patience and wait for the issues to resolve themselves. Next time something like this happens to PSN, Sony will be better prepared and the downtime will be shorter then what it was the first time, that's if Sony allows something like this to happen again. Its not like you weren't able to play any games because you were, you just weren't able to play online for a few days! It happened during the Holidays which sucked balls but still not like it was down for weeks or months it was just what 2 days!!! That's my 2 cents.
