PSP Vita Games vs Nintendo 3DS games

I admit that I'm a Sony fanboy and I admire everything that's made by Sony. I like all of their game consoles and I love most of their video games. However, when it comes to handhelds, I think that Nintendo is a force to reckon with. They have a huge following when it comes to handhelds and I think that the 3DS is still the overall leader when it comes to units sold. When it comes to games, which do you think has the better lineup - the Vita or the 3DS?

3DS for sure. Initially I would say they were almost neck-to-neck with Sony having a slight advantage with more awesome games like Need for Speed, God of War, Final Fantasy and Star Ocean just to name a few. Nintendo was lagging behind with its main flagship titles from Pokemon and Mario. But when Sony started to focus its efforts into developing its other projects like the console, Blu-ray and such, Nintendo continuously churned out more and more interesting games which led up to an overall wider range and selection of games for the 3DS.

Both have great games and the best option is to have both consoles... the thing is that it's just better to wait. Not all consoles have that many titles that guarantee a good purchase, so it's better to wait another 2 years to decide. That or wait for the E3 that is coming up soon!

I think the 3ds is better in my opinion.
They made many old consoles like the nes, gameboy, n64.
I am not going to steer away from Nintendo since they make great hand-held consoles.

Nintendo is kinda better and I think Sony just never really caught on. They are kinda doing what Nintendo is doing with the Wii. Limited marketing and limited gaming selections. The PSP should be the number one handheld game. Though, they just can't seem to get it going right.

The problem with the psp is that many of its games are also found in consoles. Instead of making an original game for the handheld, most game developers are content on making a port of a home console game and putting it on the PSP. This results to a generic experience because the game is no longer unique. Quit making ports of ps3 and xbox games and simply putting it on the psp. Create a unique gaming experience on the handheld instead.

True but I think the main reason they port it over to the console is due to international sales. Most people in Western countries are more likely to have a console rather than a handheld. Not too sure for the reason behind this, maybe it's due to the screen size. Another reason could be due to the "mods" that take place more with handhelds, so to protect their sales, companies port it over to consoles.
