Resistance series vs Killzone series

PS3 fans, I hope you're doing good! Anyways, I would just want to open a thread that deals with two of the best first person shooters for the PlayStation - Resistance and Killzone. I enjoyed both game series. They provide an exiting single player campaign and an exhilarating multiplayer experience that's at the top of the genre. What I'd like to ask is this - which do you think is the better FPS series? Resistance or Killzone?

I had Killzone 2,and Resistance 1 & 2.
I prefered the SP campaigns of Resistance games.

I prefer the Resistance series but killzone saga never appealed me that much, and I didn't really like its gameplay it felt really " heavy " and story just felt like another shooter something I didn't felt when playing Resistance, it was my first PS3 game and I'm really happy about it, it was definitely a nice surprise. The characters and story are more interesting when compared to KZ.
