Rumor: PS4 slated to geta PS1 & PS2 emulator

I think the most Sony would do with the PS4 is offer "classics" just like what they did with the PS3. The bad thing about this was, the library of games are really limited. It would be more profitable than giving you a free emulation update to play old games. By the way, didn't Sony said that Playstation Now will offer PS1 and PS2 games for streaming too.

I can understand people wanting HD upgrades, but it really a bit of an exhaustive job to do that for every game being considered for PS4 (whether for the rumored the emulator or just in general). Hell, I'd be glad if it just pops up period.

Yes it is! He's one of my favorites. I remember after Gene and Ole retired and Arn came in that fourth member was generally a revolving door for members (Luger, Windham, Sid, Sting for a hot moment in the 90s)...then all of them tried their luck in WWF at different times with only Flair having actually success with that epic Royal Rumble '92: enters at #3, lasts an hour, Bobby Heenan gives the best commentary performance of all time with "Not fair to Flair!", and wins.

I think it'll come down to hacker/mod community to actually get an emulator for PS1 and PS2 on PS4. It will be hacked eventually, no question about that.

Oh, it'll come down to the mod community to do homebrew (including emulators) after its been hacked widely enough to the point they can give directions on how to do it yourself.

There will be emulators on the PS4 one way or another. It's best that Sony gets in front of it because as soon as the PS4 is actually hacked to where homebrew takes hold, it's over.

PS4 doesn't support PS1 classics yet? That's odd. It should support PS1 and PS2 classics, at least.

I thought PS4 had PS1 and PS2 games in the sense that they call them classics, but most aren't classics...they're just old games.

I know. It really doesn't seem to fit their whole...gameplan. I really have a hard time believing it would ever happen.

Agreed. i would think this kind of move would be like shooting themselves in the foot.
