In all honesty they are great for Call of Duty and some other First Person Shooters but on a lot of games they can't be used as you need a full input of a button to make it register. What Scuff does is put a trigger guard on the triggers L2 and R2 so you don't have to hold down the button completely when firing. They also have paddles at the back which can be rebound to one of the X Square, Triangle or Circle buttons so you don't have to take your thumb off of the right stick.
So its heavily modified and in all honesty can really only be used on Call of Duty and some other FPS games. Some have it so you can't use a scuf controller.
If your cousin is a CoD fan or FPS fan its a good thing to pick up but otherwise, maybe not.
