This was my favorite gaming console when I was a kid! My favorite game was probably one of the Sonic ones, but there were so many good ones it makes choosing an absolute favorite really difficult. Any other Sega Genesis fans out there?
I loved having a Sega Genesis as a kid. I even had Sega Channel, which was the best. I loved the Disney games, like Aladdin and Lion King. They were a lot of fun and actually kind of difficult.
Oh my - I haven't thought about the Sega Genesis in forever. I used to have it too and I loved it. I played so many games. I can't even remember them all. Did you have an Atari system too?
According to the description, the collection includes Shadow Dancer, Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle, Kid Chameleon, The Secret of Shinobi, and quite a few others. And, Mino, it has Sonic the Hedgehog which might be one of your favorites since you mentioned the Sonic games.
One game I keep thinking about was a game with some sort of animal (maybe a squirrel?) and you had to take him though an amusement park in some of the levels. I can't remember what it was called though.
There was also a game called Earthworm Jim that I loved!
Yes, I had the Sega Genesis too. Unfortunately, my parents didn't have the money to purchase it for me when it was launched. They managed to get it later, after the hype had gone and the console had started to be considered obsolete. However, I still played a lot of games on it for a few years...
I still had my Sega Genesis, up until a few years ago. Someone broke into my house, and stole every console I had. Man, I miss
playing Earthworm Jim, and Sonic. Was there a Michael Jackson game on the Genesis? I had a Michael Jackson game, but I can not
remember which system it was on.
Yes, there was a Michael Jackson game, called Moonwalker, for the Genesis. I had that game, when i was young, and loved playing it. Sega Genesis, was such a great console, I wish I still had one. I also liked Sonic, but I always got stuck on this one level.
Did anybody else have Sega Channel when that was out? It was a lot of fun to be able to play games that way. The more I think about it, the more ahead of its time that seems.
Yay, other people remember the Sega Genesis! And yeah, my mom bought me it when it was on its way out-- she actually had to put it on layaway and pay for it a bit at a time until it was all paid for.
