Sony reveals 11 PlayStation 4 Apps Available At Launch

What WarriorSoldier said is pretty much why I go with Hulu. I typically look for the recent TV shows since I fall behind very often.

I'm interested in seeing what other apps they get. I'm excited by Crunchyroll, I don't really use Crackle now, and Epix is pretty cool as there are a lot of great comedians put their specials on it. I do wonder if any other Sports will put their apps on the PS4. I'm guessing that the NFL is exclusive to Microsoft but is there any idea if it'll come to the PS4 eventually.

If Sony is up for paying a similar amount to snag a deal with NFL then soon. Since the PS4 doesn't come off as North American-centric in approach I would say down the line. It really depends on how long the deal with Microsoft is.

I'm not fond of Hulu plus at all. I had a 2 week trial or something recently, and their lack of content is pretty staggering. The worst part is that, even with a paid subscription (or trial), they still play commercials. And not just a few; a TON of commercials. Supposedly they're planning on eliminating that, but I really see no reason to use them over Netflix or even Redbox instant. Although honestly I tried the latter and wasn't impressed, either. Still, at least there's some selection there from the get-go.

Yeah.. seems kinda silly to pay for the service and still have to deal with commercials. That's why I like Netflix. The content is great and also no commercials.

Hulu isn't all that bad. I mean I've used them for a while now and their okay but yeah there are a ton of commericals which is weird for people who paid for their plus service. Hopefully they get rid of that soon, but I would use it on my PS4 I think. I saw a video demo of it and it seemed to be pretty smooth with almost instant quality correction. There isn't much in their apps but the really good ones should be coming soon.

The most important app to be would have to be Netflix. I Use Netflix all the time. Almost every day. There are times when I absolutely need Netflix to get myself to sleep. It will be a must download for me.

Netflix is a good one and one that most people will use next to Hulu. I like the idea of a Crckle app, mostly because I like Crackle but so far the app picking are a little slim. Sony needs to keep rolling apps to make things a little more interesting and keep PS4 owners interested in the console and not doing the inevitable dust collecting until new games come out next year.
