Sony to give PS Plus members 5 additional days for Network Downtime!

Were you a PS Plus member over the Christmas period - specifically December 25th - who experienced the PSN Downtime (aka the Lizard Squad attack)?

Well Sony will be giving you an additional 5 days of Plus for free. The extension will be automatically applied, so you do not need to do anything on your part.

In addition to this, this month members will receive for a limited time a 10% discount code for a one-time discount off a total cart purchase from the Playstation Store.

Personally I don't think they really needed to do anything as it was only 3-4 days, but it's still awesome of them. But, of course, I'm sure people will still complain about how it's not good enough and they "deserve more!" like free games and what-not.

I thought just adding the days we had in PSN downtime as a PS+ subscriber would be plenty.
