The Order 1886 gameplay video

They had a short 2 minute peek of gameplay yesterday :

The stream was kinda choppy but that's the best quality of the game I've seen so far. Graphics look amazing and are close to CGI stuff. Shooting looks pretty Gears of War-ish but we'll see. They'll probably show us more at E3. A higher quality version of the footage will be released by the devs on Tuesday. Thoughts on the gameplay?

It looks lovely, that's for sure.

I know very little about this game, however. Are you able to control your squad/team or do they do things on their own? Is there some sort of tactical element or is it another Gears of War cover-based shooter?

I think it's the latter. Haven't seen any squad commands/menus. There's supposed to be other things like investigating. It's a steampunk type of game so expect there to be creative guns/weapons. In that video, the guy uses a thermite rifle where he fires something before lightiing it on fire.
