Titanfall does not support cross-platform play between Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC

This is the way it should be if you think about it. Xbox One players are going to have superior graphics, audio and smoother mechanics than Xbox 360 players. It's a cool thought but I'm sure matchmaking is going to be fine without this. This is a nice confirmation though, nice find.

It's pretty obvious to see why they are doing this. What LuckyPupil said might be a part of the reason but I remember other developers commenting on console + PC crossplay and they say things such as how they don't wanna do it because the PC players would have an advantage over the console players (this is definitely true for FPS, at least, because of keyboard and mouse providing more precision than a gamepad) and so they prefer to just separate them so that it's fairer for everybody.

Well, I saw that coming. I will buy this game for my PC, but is this news relevant here? I was just curious since it's a forums about PS4 discussions. I have no problem with it though.

wowtgp - this is filed under other gaming subcat Xbox... it is totally legit. Why would you even have a question like this? I mean you're a senior member with over 150 postings so I'd think you'd know this already.

I still remember when Microsoft tried to make the same servers for Halo 2 on the Xbox and PC. The slaughter couldn't be contained so they were like "nope, this ain't happening or no one will be playing this on the Xbox".

Ah... that was how long ago? Time does pass. That said I never really understood why a PC player should enjoy an advantage to a console player with these kinds of games, but I guess that is just me. I did enjoy all the spazzing that ensued and watching the players be segregated was sad. Watching someone bite it like a n00b over and over again (particularly if you don't like them) is honestly quite entertaining.
