Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

This looks really awesome. I already got it when it was released but never finished it. Now that there will be a new gen update I'm going to purchase this again and finish it. It's good that they are "rebuilding" the game and not just giving it a PS4 port. With the addition of all the DLCs, this version is going to rock!

I'm not against this. I'm not really happy about the fact that their insisting on selling it for $60 but I understand the reasoning behind the decision I guess. But for me it's a pass. If you haven't played Tomb Raider then I do recommend it, but I've played it and I don't see what they could include in this to make me buy it.

This seems interesting, but yeah I'm with dragoon. I already played Tomb Raider so I'm not sure why I'd buy the ultimate addition. There isn't enough there to bring me back, I might consider it if their adding DLC like more missions or story. But if it's not that then this really isn't for anyone who isn't a major fan or hasn't played the original yet. So far it's a pass for me.

Now I'd be up for getting this if you could do a deal at retailers where you trade in your old copy and you got a discount for the new copy for the PS4. I'd be all over that but paying money for a game I already own just for better visuals....I'm not interested in that...Again if it was discounted or apart upgrade programme I'd be all over it but just for the visuals, I honestly wouldn't buy it.

Oh, so the consoles are getting the PC version finally?

It still won't be able to do 1440p @ 60FPS. Such a shame.

I've been meaning to play the 2013 version. I guess getting it on the PS4 would be nice.

Yeah, like it's already been said. If you haven't played it yet on the PS3 then get it for the PS4. I've played it to, and while I liked it it's not a game that I would buy twice. And yeah they haven't said anything about this version that makes me think that I should go out to the stores and buy it. They'll need to be slightly more convincing or there needs to be something more to the Ultimate Edition for me to purchase it.
