TV shows or movies?

What do you guys prefer? T shows or movies? Both have their own audiences. I for one prefer TV shows than movies as you get to invest and attached to a character in shows.

Movies. It's hard for me to find a TV show that I will adore. Movies do a better job for me

There are and have been plenty of awesome TV shows too so couldnt decide which is better. Its like saying what do you prefer,eating or drinking? lol.

As a cinephile, my answer is film. I could give a long, elaborate response to this--and I probably will later down the road--but right now time restricts me.

Well, I really don't know what to say- I mean, with all the reality shows on TV, and all the zombie and superhero movies in the theaters, I really prefer watching documentaries. At least you learn something worth while by watching documentaries- what can you learn by watching Jersey Shore or the latest Batman movie? Only crap.

Here in the UK, domestic television has been dominated for several years by an endless wave of talent shows, dancing competitions and reality TV. There's no end to it. To me, it's got to the stage that 99% is brainless garbage. I occasionally watch the odd soap opera if I really have absolutely nothing else at all to do, but that's it. I spend most evenings watching gaming videos on YouTube.

The only TV I watch these days is what I've previously recorded via Sky+. These will either be documentaries or some sort of car show. I can skip all the adverts this way, too.

When it comes to films, I've only been to the cinema twice in the last nine years (I seem to be a magnet to weird people or those who are in excess of 6" 5' and will sit directly in front of me despite the room being half empty). I do watch quite a few films at home though so I suppose between the pair, I would probably go for films over regular TV shows.

For me i love my TV shows from the walking dead to csi at the minute I'm loving Gotham if anybody haven't been watching it i highly recommend it

Gotham is beast! I hope they manage to keep it awesome.

back to the topic. I love both, it all depends on the movie/TV show, how they develop the characters and how they carry on with the story.
I cant really choose one, but TV shows are more accessible and their runtime is short(40 mins usually) so for a busy person like me TV shows are much more convenient to watch.

You guys aren't importing TV shows from here in the states, are you? Sounds like the mindless drivel on our networks. As for gaming videos, there was an awesome gaming network here in the US called G4. They had shows about games, Ninja Warrior (which was fun as hell to watch) and some other "nerd" oriented shows which were all good. It was shut down for reruns of Cops. American television. Go figure.

As for me, I mostly just watch Comedy Central and some stuff on Nat Geo and the Science Channel (but even Science is starting to dumb down a bit. At least they still have some compelling documentaries). Though my favorite show to watch is Top Gear UK.

Gotham is my favorite show on tv. The guy that plays Oswald Cobblepot (The Penguin before he got fat) does an awesome job. A really believable character.

I like good tv shows but prefer movies because you get a beginning and an end to the story in one sitting. My wife likes this show called Resurrection. I find myself wanting to know what is causing all these people that come back tho and it just gets dragged on for seasons.

I like the fact that Movies throw all the important facts in a small period of time. But Series can be enjoyed over a longer time. So I like both and switching them from time to time ain't bad.
