This is kind of nice. There's an incentive to jump onto FF while you still have the PS3 and you don't get penalized for getting the PS4. Pretty cool in my opinion. I think that more companies need to do this more often. There's a lot of talk about the new Apple phones. The new Android phones. Etc.
The fact is that changing from one to the other can be a daunting task because of the requirements of software and the needs that you have. This is a little less dramatic by far, but they are doing a pretty decent solid for their customers and I think its a great thing.
