Venom DS4 Rechargeable Battery Pack

Well,if you still wanna try a rechargeable battery pack for the Dual Shock 4 controller but dont wanna risk getting the Nyko one then check the Venom version.
Apparently good for up to 20 hours of gameplay.

One thing that concerns me about these packs are their weight. They look like they will add considerable weight to the controller. The DS4 feels perfect as it is, I'm afraid that the added weight will make it uncomfortable to hold.

I seriously pondered over the booster/battery pack rout but decided my money was better put towards a 2nd DS4, I cycled controllers on the PS3 so it was really a non-issue for me, battery life could be better on the DS4 sure, but it is what it is, no sense whining about it endlessly, I got an insignia charge base for my controllers to keep them topped up, love this set up so far.

edit: I think a better move would be higher capacity replacement battery packs rather then external packs, I may order a couple 2000mah packs from deal extreme if the battery life starts to bother me (I want to get purple analog sticks from dx.com anyhow)

It looks heavy, but I'd go for it if it gives you far better battery life than the DS4 battery pack normally does. The battery life isn't horrible, but I'll deal with a little extra weight to get a few more hours out of my controllers. It's not attractive to me. All I care about is getting the job done, though, when it comes to battery packs. Although I don't use extended batteries for smartphones because those make them far too bulky. A controller, though? Works for me!
