What did you buy during the Steam Summer Sale 2013?

I've personally got a fairly tight budget this year so I've not been going nuts on the sale like I normally do but I did pick up a few cool games:

• Scribblenauts Unlimited
• Civ 5 Gold
• Bastion
• Skyrim DLC

The civ 5 deal was really good in particular. For just £2.50 you could upgrade from the standard version of the game to the gold version which gives you absolutely all the DLC except from the latest Brave New World, but even still you get like £30 worth of content for £2.50, a really great deal.

Scribblenauts is pretty fun too, I really like the art design in that game. It's very imaginative too and great for kids

I've not got the chance to play the other two yet but hopefully they will be good, I've heard a lot of positive things about Bastion in particular so I have high hopes for that one.

So what did you guys get this time round on the steam sale?

So far, I have not bought one single game. A couple of my friends gave in and bought some games like Civ 5: Gold edition, but I haven't found any games that are worth buying at the moment. Deus Ex at $3 was considered, but I decided that I shouldn't buy it since I've seen multiple gameplay videos of it. The Summer Sale is over, and I would really love to find a game that's worth buying though.

I also had a tighter budget so I could not get quite as many games as I usually do but I still managed to get a few that I enjoy.

Mark of the Ninja
Dark Souls
The Witcher 2
Showdown Effect
Endless Space

Those are all the stuff I bought myself and they were only like $20-25 combined, which was freaking awesome.

I had Showdown Effect in beta and finally bought it, never got the chance to buy Dark Souls so thought why not.
The other games were just ones that I've seen and played a little bit of and though were really good deals.

I had a tight budget so I mostly got DLC as I managed to get some quality game time from a couple dollars like that.
I got lots of Sleeping Dogs DLC, Civilization V's expansion, Borderlands 2 + DLC, FTL: Faster Than Light and all the DLC to XCOM.

There's lots of stuff I wanted to buy like Mark of the Ninja and Witcher 2 but I'll wait for the Christmas Sale now
