What's the best Action RPG for the PS2?

The PS 2 had a ton of RPGs but it only had a couple of action RPGs. I actually only got to play 3 action RPGs for the PS 2 - Kingdom Hearts 2, Rogue Galaxy, and Okami. All of these games were superb but I believe that Okami is the clear winner. It had magnificent cell shaded graphics that looked like a moving painting, excellent gameplay mechanics and an exceptional and epic quest. What's your pick?

Final Fantasy X-2 was pretty awesome and frustrating. I can't figure out how to win in Blitzball and some celestial weapons are so impossible to complete. I remember wanting to get all their weapons before beating out the final boss but I just gave up the idea coz I just couldn't dodge all the lightnings. Sheesh...

Odin Sphere?

The game is not only great, but the soundtrack and art style are incredible. The story is also very good, with all those great characters and their stories.

Also, Monster Hunter and Kingdom Hearts, especially 2.

Uh, yeah, X-2 was great and all, especially with the hot babes but I wouldn't consider it as an action RPG. It's more of a traditional turn based RPG. I would consider Final Fantasy XII to be more in line with the action RPG genre because of its unique gameplay but not X-2.

Oh, sorry about that. I was only referring to an RPG game for PS2. I'm off topic. If it's action RPG, I think Kingdom Hearts was the best I played. There's more to it that the original Kingdom Hearts game. The only thing I dislike about it is, it makes me dizzy sometimes.

I would say Kingdom Hearts. I think it is a well thought out title and the graphics were good in particular for PS2.

Lol. That's okay. It was an honest mistake. It seems as though a lot of people are choosing Kingdom Hearts probably because of the collaboration of Square and Disney. The recognizable characters that ate in the game make it very appealing. But, haven't you tried playing Okami? It looks better and plays a lot better.

I personally haven't played Kingdom Hearts as I felt the characters would make the game very kiddish but I hear many people around me telling how it's a really good game and something that should not be missed. Back to your original question, I think some good action games would be Monster Hunter and God of War. But if you're asking to base my pick from the three given, I would have to say Okami as it's the only one I've played. Apart from that, I liked the overall setting of the game and the character graphics of the game.
