What's the future of your PS 3

Well PS4 isn't backwards compatible with PS3 so I'll definitely be keeping it to play my old PS3 games. I'll also be keeping it as a DVD/Blu-Ray player because I don't have another one.

I'm not selling mine since GTA: V is coming out on it there will be no point ill be sweating out that so i'm going to keep it for aslong as i have my GTA if GTA is not good i will sell my ps3 as that is the only reason i'm keeping it.

I have always been fond of collecting things and consoles is one of 'em. So, as far as the fate of my PS3 is concerned, she need not worry as she is in safe hands haha :)
As a matter of fact, I still have PS1, XBOX AND PS2 in my home. They are all safe and in playable conditions. PS3 is also going to be in the list of my collections to show to my future grandson :)

Stay exactly where it is. It's still a long time for me until i get his new brother, and even when i get it, i will manage a way to put them next to each other, maybe even have a different screen for each. Only if Sony remembers to put backwards compatibility, this is going to be my plan.

Definitely once I get my PS4 I would be using my PS3 lesser and lesser. I would still probably use it for playing my old favorites such as Uncharted or of course GTA V! But other than that I don't see much use.

However, if the PS4 has a crappy Netflix app or if it's not compatible with my TV's remote as the PS3's app it then I might use PS3 for watching Netflix.

Haha, cool name, Joel, and cool avatar. I'm guessing The Last of Us was your favorite game?

Anyways, the future of my PS3 doesn't look too dire; I can still play it for another year or two because I highly doubt I'll be buying the PS4 once it releases. I'm way too cheap, and I want to look for reviews before buying it. Not to mention, that some PS4 games will be compatible with the PS3, so I'll still be entertained even with the previous-gen consoles. If I ever do get the PS4 though, I'll probably stop playing on the PS3 mainly because of the exclusives on the PS4. I'm sure there are many games that will take longer than 10 hours to complete, so the PS3 will stay untouched for a while after I get the PS4.

For me, I'm trying to sell my PS3, although I have games like Skyrim and Uncharted 3 that I haven't truly used to their full potential. I just really like getting the latest consoles, and being up to date.

Right now, my PS3 occupies the place of pride in my entertainment system. I have the PS4 on pre-order, so, once that comes in, it will be replaced. But, my PS3 will still live life as a Blu-Ray player in my bedroom. And, of course, I'll still be able to play my PS3 games.

Well until I get a PS4 then my time is on the PS3. When I do get a PS4 I will probably not play on it as much as the PS3 still as there won't probably be many games for it still. Also I have quite a few games I want to play that are still on PS3. I think I will probably be sticking with the PS3 for a couple of years. When I am done with it I will probably still keep the games and the console and hook it up a few times. Either that or I take it to a different TV in the house and hook it up as a Blu-Ray player. Actually I would probably do that.

I've gone through two different PS3's. The first was a "fatty" that broke after about 3 years of use. So, I picked up a slim. The slim works when it wants to. I tend to play Madden 10 franchise mode with friends and I estimate that the slim PS3 reads the disc about 30% of the time that I insert it. I swear, Sony builds these things to break. Such is the nature of a capitalist, eh? Why build something that will last? You'd lose a serious percentage of your customer base if you did.

I'll probably use it as a door stop. What else am I going to do with it? I'm certainly not going to buy another. Maybe I'll take it into the woods and smash it to pieces along with its Fatty brother. Like what the dudes in Office Space did to the fax machine.

I'm keeping mine since I love it too much. It's still useful for watching blu-ray and regular DVDs. I'm just going to move it upstairs to my game room so it's not totally neglected when I have the PS4. I know i'm going to play it occasionally so remember the good times I had with it.

I'll probably use it as a media device. Either I'll leave it hooked up to my TV or I'll hook it up to my PC. I still love my PS3 and it'll still have plenty of use for me, so why would I get rid of it?

The future of my PS3 is me actually buying a PS3 after all these years so I can play some of the gems I've been missing like Demon's Souls (which hurts me because I got it from PS+), Tokyo Jungle, Last of Us, etc.

Even when I do won both a PS3 and PS4, I'll keep the PS3 around because the PS4 has no backwards compatibility.

If PS4 doesn't have backwards compatibility I'll definitely still play on my PS3 sometimes, so it will probably stay hooked up to my tv

When I get the PS4 then I will of course spend time playing on that. However I will still play games on my PS3 as it got some games that aren't coming for PS4 and since it isn't backwards compatible then I will need the PS3.
Beside my PS3 still works flawlessly so it would be stupid not to use it even after I get the PS4.

Seeing as I can't play PS3 games with my PS4, I'll probably hang onto to my PS3 for awhile. I don't plan on buying a PS4 for quite awhile so, it has quite a bit of time left in the living room.

I can guarantee I will be keeping my Playstation 3 for a while longer because there are still games I'm going to buy on the darn thing. I don't even have plans of getting a Playstation 4 for quite a while actually because there are not currently any games that I really want to play only being released on it. I'm keeping this one till it explodes or something bro, burn the house down playing it.

I mean I think in the future I will still have my Playstation 3. I have never recommended selling consoles because they never give you no where near the price you payed for it. I will more than likely just keep my Playstation 3 for future use.

I will continue to keep my PS3. I still have all my PS consoles and I still play on them. I don't like throwing old consoles away unless I can't play on them anymore.
