When does Minecraft update to what its like on laptop?

so on my laptop when i go on minecraft there's a few new things like flowers, blocks and animals like rabbits so i was just wondering when the ps4 update there's to what its like on laptop

I don't think, due to memory space and possible other things, that the PS4 version of Minecraft will ever be exactly the same as the PC version in terms of content and possibilities.

Well Minecraft on PC has tons of features on it. Even before the release of Minecraft PS4 there were features that never made it into the PS4 retail release.
