From what I can tell, online wise, I've heard and seen places saying they'll have them in by late January, early February.

Currently in the UK they're quite easy to get a hold of, if you're desperate and willing to part with cash over the RRP price. I bought a bundle on Tuesday (should be delivered on Monday) and the woman at Argos congratulated me on getting my hands on one

I won't be looking around for a PS4 until at least April (my birthday), so I wouldn't think the current small numbers tricking, at best, into the shops will effect me.
I have briefly looked around on various gaming store websites, supermarkets e.t.c and the lot of them give the same answer and have done since launch – 'Out Of Stock', with no date when they're due back in.
I'm likely to buy mine from Amazon as I have a £50 voucher from Christmas to use and no doubt I'll have accumulated one or two more from my upcoming birthday too. Guess what – they're out of stock too.
Sony have played a clever game themselves here with their marketing strategy. They know full well demand is going to be high so they'll artificially keep the supply low. In turn, they'll keep the prices high for the longest possible time until the initial demand from launch starts to dip. They'll never admit to this of course, but I bet good money this is exactly what they're doing. It's incredibly frustrating and unfair for gamers but if that's the way they're playing it, I'll play that game too and just continue on waiting myself... I've got to that age where I don't care about getting things early/first any more as I know full well you get ripped off for the privilage. I've been in that boat before...

The Argos twitter account has stated that they're looking to get some more stock in by the end of January

The Ps4 is actually being shipped out on a weekly, to monthly bases. They sell out fast sure, but they can be found if you time it right at just about any store. You're best bet is to call ahead, know someone that works at a retail store to kinda inform you of a shipment coming in if possible, or simply pre-ordering. XBOX1 on the other had...Readily AVAILABLE. *cough*
