When will we see non cross-gen games?

A lot of gamers are going to be disappointed if they find out that there are PS4 exclusives that are better than their PC games, though!

It's most likely happening in about two years. There are too many 360s PS3s out there, gonna take a while before the majority converts...

Well a lot of next-gen games are coming out on PCs too! If you mean purely PS4 exclusives like Infamous, well they'll either have to buy a PS4 or deal with it :) PCs have good games that we don't have either. But just because you have one doesn't mean you can't have the other ;)

Indeed! The real master race are the ones who own all the consoles and a gaming PC.

Activision has already said the next COD will be designed for PS4 and One, then ported/scaled back for the ps3 and 360. Thats a pretty big deal.

I'd say in a year or two, they'll start saying that they're no longer making old gen games, because they'll want to force you to buy the new consoles and get them more money.

Well, Sony has a legacy of supporting their consoles for a looong time so we will ses the Fifa and madden games being cross-gen for quite a few years.

Remember how they've delayed GTA V? It is among the best games I've ever played. This will happen with other exclusives too.

Wasn't the last game released for the PS2 FIFA 14? That's a very long time. I think it'll be interesting to see if there's a noticeable jump in graphics once most devs/publishers commit most of their efforts into next-gen. Not only that, but I hope they do some neat things with the controller touchpad. Killzone did a good job of implementing it into gameplay IMO but I hope there are more games that utilize it in wider and more creative ways.

I don't have any problem with cross-platform video games as long as they are as good on the PC too.

This is how i feel.

I think it is a little childish to want a game to be made exclusively for your console, just to boast to users of other consoles about it. I do not care what platforms the game is on as long as it is good, and it entertains me. I would also want it to be optimized to run on my system.

I hate when game developers scale games down in order to make them cross-platform. I would rather they produce them separately, so they are optimized for each system that way everyone get's a great gaming experience.

This drives up cost and production time though because of QA testing. In an ideal world, we'd be getting properly optimized ports of all games on all systems. But we don't. It's the reason why the Dark Souls 1 and GTA IV ports sucked.
