Which game series do you want to see continued on the PS4?

Here are some of those I want to see:

Resident Evil
Silent Hill
Tomb Raider
Final Fantasy
GTA
Call of duty
Assasin's creed
Crash Bandicoot

And I still hope for a really new and innovative game series from Sony itself.

GTA ofcourse,
Red Dead Redemption
Doom
Half Life

(Im not gonna mention CoD or Battlefield cause we know they will anyway)

Red Dead Redemption, GTA, God of War, Killzone, Resistance, Borderlands, Medal of Honor (will probably not happen though), Motorstorm.

Beyond the obvious, I'd like to see the Souls series (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls II) continue onto next-gen consoles. Same with my favorites like Mortal Kombat or Injustice: Gods Among Us. Even though it's unlikely, a follow up to L.A. Noire would be absolutely amazing as well.

Most of the series that I want to see continued on the PS4 are already confirmed to be getting sequels or new entry's in the series. For example, Infamous Second Son is set to be released in spring of next year, along with that Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts are finally going to be released as well and I've been waiting on both of those games since 2006. I think the only other game I would like to see would be a sequel to Batman: Arkham City.

Yeah quite a few of the series I like are either already confirmed such as the Assassin's Creed games or Infamous, I also would love to play the new Kingdom Hearts game. Also Red Dead might continue but it will not be with Marston unless they actually decide to make a story out of Jack when he's older, none of the Red Dead's are really sequels. While I would love to see GTA on PS4 I'm actually glad it will be on the PS3 instead that way I'll get to play it earlier, since I don't actually have a date planned for buying the PS4.

None to be honest. I don't really like the idea of franchises and sequels. Once you go through one game , the successor just won't be the same. Assassins creed and Dragon Age are very good examples of this . Some of my favourite games of the 7th gen didn't have sequels , e.g. Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire. They are both amongst my favourite games and their stories felt complete, and even fleshed out with some good DLC. Not all games need a sequel and it's a terrible mentality that game developers are really obsessed with.

So you dont wanna see a GTA game on PS4 then?

I'm indifferent to be honest. GTA 5 has a big marketing drive going for it and they are setting the bar very high for themselves. GTA 4 was rather disappointing and the fans are expecting great things this time round and if they fail to deliver then they will just alienate and anger even more people. Sometimes it's just best to let go of a franchise and end it on a good note, and GTA SA should have been that good note.

I would love the original pokemon games to get transferred from Nintendo onto PS download. I'd be in gameboy heaven playing that on a huge TV screen.

Not even spiritual successors like Red Dead Redemption? As far as sequels and franchises go it really depends on what and how the storyline is being used. There are some characters you're going to want to see again and again (Snake, Mario, once upon a time Sonic). There are some stories that need to be continued - arguably Assassin's Creed and I think Fable. And then of course there are some worlds that can't be abandoned - Bioshock, GTA, and Saint's Row. Does that mean every game needs to be followed with another? No, but by that same token it seems quite wasteful to just leave potentially great experiences on the cutting room floor.

Some series I would love to see continued that come to mind are:

GTA
KillZone
Assassin's Creed
Final Fantasy
The Elder Scrolls
COD
Burnout
Infamous

Essentially, almost every franchise I am looking forward to for the next generation has either been confirmed or has an extremely high likelihood to continue. I'm certain I'm missing a few of my favorites, but to be honest they must not have stuck that well in my mind if I can't recall them without a second thought :p.

Yeah most of my true love games already have a release planned. I think I will be vey poor at the end of this year and 2014.

I personally don't think series should live and die with a console, if they can help it. Sometimes a game is ahead of its time, and needed a next-gen system to be fully realized. Other times, the expanded capabilities mixed with nostalgic love for a series, can really make some fantastic masterpieces that really showcase the power and popularity of both game and console. Other times, the next-gen is just a second chance for a series believed dead.

A few series I would like for them to try again and see if they can get it right like previous installments are:
-Silent Hill
-Resident Evil
-Duke Nukem
-Suikoden
