Will we see Nathan Drake back?

It's an interesting dilemma, will Nathan Drake return?

Many speculate that Drake might be out of the picture in this one. If you do believe this, why do you believe it?

I was interested to see that in the teaser trailer the logo very deliberately said "Uncharted" and not "Uncharted 4". I instantly thought reboot. But that would make little sense.

Naughty Dog have built up an awesome cast of iconic and likeable characters. Many fans, (myself included) would be upset if drake wasn't again the star of the show.

We could see uncharted set in a different time line (maybe Sir Francis' time) but I hope not. The Assassins Creed games have done that to death. I'm hoping if ND are indeed planning on a big surprise with the next Uncharted game, they take us somewhere we least expect.

He has to be. It wouldn't be Uncharted without him.

I'm the same but we haven't heard any kind of conformation and this doesn't say Uncharted 4, just Uncharted which can be worrying considering previous trailers have said Uncharted 2.

I wonder when we'll start to get more news....

It could be a prequel? Still Drake as the lead. But set before any of the events in the previous games. Hence the "Uncharted" title. Not a reboot as such, as it has the same main character. But along the same lines as the recent Tomb Raider reboot, as in we get to see Drakes origins. What events shaped him into the man he is.

I'd also love to see more of Skullys back story too. He's my favorite character.

Usually when a franchise has more than 3 titles, the fourth of fifth one is always different or set in the past or future. Usually the past, like God of War: Ascension.
