Personally, I won't be, for various reasons. Some I've stated in another thread, but I'll re-iterate them here so someone doesn't have to search through my post history. So, Dying Light, yet ANOTHER zombie game that offers "Free roam" capabilities. Now, looking at it, the first thing you'll notice is that it's pretty much using the same exact engine that Dead Island used, and it's sequel, so right off the bat we shouldn't expect anything fantastic to come from this game. The "Game Play" videos all seem to have parts of the HUD Disabled, but I'm more then willing to bet that once the actual game is released, we'll all see the familiar damage indicator and the magical health bars that appear above the zombie's heads, along with their level. Following that, Dying Light is using an exact clone-copy animation set from Mirror's Edge. While it's kind of cool to see those climbing mechanics in a game that's actually focused on action and fighting, it's still incredibly lazy to use the EXACT animation set. Go check out a video of Mirror's Edge, and then watch Dying Light, you'll see they are the same.
Moving on from that, this game is supposed to be based around "Survival" much like Dead Island claimed to be, but from the videos they've released so far, it's still the same type of game. You can meet and save random NPC's, but after doing so they just give you some cash and maybe a weapon upgrade, then stay inside the broken down building you just killed 15 zombies in. There's no type of escorting, or bringing them back to your camp as there is in Dead Rising 1 and 2 that we've seen yet. Simply put, I won't be picking this up because without a doubt in my mind, it's Dead Island 3, just with a new name and location.
