What do you think that Sony is going to pull this time?

Will it be a cool, futurist design? Maybe just going with something simple, yet ergonomic?
Got any fan-made pictures that want to become true?

I am sure I have seen various pictures of it. The ranged a little in appearance though so I'm not sure which/if any were genuine. I hope it is futuristic looking and slimmer than the chunky PS3.

I saw the picture of the playstation 4 on a blog and I was baffled that it looks so small for its first release and thin, am kind of worried if it wouldn't have those issues the playstation 3 big one has, although its stronger when it comes to durability but am kind of scared to rush into buying one. I think I would wait some month and talk to frequent users, here what they are saying about it.

For me, its specs are wonderful, because it give the Xbox and Wii a new challenge when it comes to upgrading to a new device. I'm also looking out for opinions of previous users of those device would say, maybe changing over to the Sony playstation device. The PS4 is amazing in its ways but not until I get one for myself, before I can talk about its performance.

To my knowledge their aren't any official sony released pictures on what the console will look like. Tons of pics on the controller and it was even shown at the PS4 conference. I watched the entire thing on youtube and if they did show the console I must have missed it.

You're right. They didn't show the console and nobody knows what it will look like until at least E3, when Playstation officially show it.

I honestly think it will look pretty much the same, if not, a few minor changes to the design.
The things that will be mostly changed is online features, maybe better interface (although the ui is fine atm) or something else.
Guess we'll just have to find out on release date, or some short of leaked pictures.

The biggest thing I care about is them not releasing a big bulky system to start this time and just go straight to the mini version, since everyone will eventually prefer and buy that anyway. Unfortunately, since they will probably make less money this way, I doubt this will be the case.

I just hope there is some sort of blue light similar to the new DualShock 4 controller.

I hope it's futuristic, would go well with the whole next gen hype. A light blue, smooth, metallic color would be great, the PS3 is know for it's overall smoothness

I agree, I'd love to see a really futuristic console. I saw a fan-made design that had a lot of edges on it and I think it looked awesome. I can't link to it unfortunately, but if you google image search PS4 it should come up (it's from The Examiner).

I think it may go back to that glossy glass like look. I kinda like that shiny look as it blended in with all my other shiny products.

Though, will only awe at the design if it meets up to the hype.

I actually hope for something with very defined corners. PS1 is smooth, PS2 is boxy, PS3 is smooth, so it is only logical that the PS4 is boxy. I hope it bottom is the same size as the PS3 so I can put it in the same spot. As for colors, I hope for a black / blue matte finish.

You can actually just type in Playstation 4 on youtube, and you will see tons of pictures and vids on what the PS4 may look like. There are lots of very interesting ideas out there, but I'm very curious to see what the console is actually going to look like.

I dont care much about the appearance but Id rather have it slim.

And I am craving for Oculus Rift VR!
They should make it compatible or at least make something of their own and that would be a BOMB!
