The last time I played sports games, it was around 1996 and I'm pretty sure it was some iteration of NHL on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Since then, no. The closest I've got is that Mario Strikers game on the Wii which was a lot of fun. Oh, and Wii Sports, if that counts? Hahaha.
That being said, I'm always surprised by the amount of used sports games when I walk into an Electronics Boutique. It's just ridiculous, and yet, these games keep getting pumped out. So I'm assuming the folks who play these games (I don't know of many - maybe 2 or 3) must just always want to be on the cutting edge of the year, with the correct players? What is the draw there!?
