Greatest gaming achievement

Good day, Playstation Forums!

Achievements make us feel awesome. These things give us the inspiration to continue on with life and keep on moving forward. These are the things that we get once we reach our life's desires and goals. Whenever we achieve something, we feel a great sense of happiness deep inside.

Today is another day, thus I have another question. My question for you today is what is your greatest gaming achievement? Why?

Feel free to share! Let's discuss! Thanks!

I haven't had many note-worthy achievements, but I do have some.

One of them is playing a game for over 3 years. May not seem like a long time, but I am proud of myself. I'm glad that i started off addicted to the game, and still am. Not as addicting as 1 and a half years ago, but i like to play the game every once in a while. If anyone might be wondering what the game is called, it's a MOBA game. Pretty popular, and I'm pretty sure some of you will guess it.

Well, I'm a real Monster Hunter Enthusiast. I didn't start playing Monster Hunter until my friend introduced it to me and I've been hooked since then. With my friend being leagues ahead of me in terms of skill, I felt the greatest satisfaction when I managed to complete MHP3rd before him. But what was even greater was that I defeated all the end-game bosses solo with weapons that people felt were suicidal to use: Dual Swords.

May not seem like much, but completing Halo Reach on Legendary Solo was my proudest moment.

Wow, three years?! That's quite a long time! I could not even muster up the attention span to play a game for more than an hour. I think that the last game that I was able to play for more than a year was Conquer Online. It was quite fun while it still wasn't following a pay-to-win method.

Hmmm, is it the original Defense of the Ancients game?

Haha, your guess was close, but not correct! The game is League of Legends, I'm surprised that you didn't guess it!

I have played the original DOTA and DOTA 2 but it's just too hard for me. Minecraft is almost at the 3-year mark for me as well!

Ohhh, I knew it was League of Legends! ;).

I've tried the two DOTA games, but I've never tried playing the games for more than 30 minutes. I found it to be very boring.

Suree, you knew :P

I also played a few DOTA games and thought it was boring as well. There were only a few characters you can choose from on the original game, and seeing all the different custom games on the actual Warcraft 3 client, I wouldn't have stocked with DOTA. Maybe if there was a separate client like there is for DOTA 2 now, I probably would've got into it.

Winning my first lan tournament and actually bringing home money that I made from gaming, it was like a dream had come true.

Jesus Christ, that IS an achievement. It feels good to earn cash by doing something you love! Good job man! If you don't mind, may I ask what game you were playing that time?

About over a year ago my friend was obsessed with finishing the 2 player mode in an FPS game, I think it was CoD but we were shooting zombies. We kept playing it for a few days because it really was a challenging game and eventually we did finish it. I don't remember any particular achievement as all the trophies we got were in his system and I never really got to review them, but it was fun focusing so hard and playing as a team to finish something. I think we need more co-op games in these new generation games and hopefully they'll make more but I'd honestly like something other than FPS.

I have not done many Achievement that could be considered exceptional.:o

I still finished Infamous 2 with a platinum trophy. My only platinum trophy.
I am always happy when I finish a game 100%.

I have Final Fantasy 13-2 to 100%. This is a good game achievements?

My most favorite achievement would have to be on when I did a speed run on Super Meat Boy.
I managed to beat it in like 30 minutes or so but it took ages of practice to actually do that.

Can't say that there is much other that I really think is cool, anymore at least.

Not sure if it's my greatest gaming achievement but it's certainly one of them, on Empire Total War I conquered the entire map, every single province:empire.jpg

That's wonderful! I've always wanted to participate in a lan gaming competition but I always chicken out at the last moment (well at least before paying the fees and stuff). Lan players these days are so professional, it seems almost impossible to beat them if you're just an ordinary gamer. Most also play in groups and tour around the city for betting games.

When i finally beat the Hitman Contract game. I was so into that game it was insane! I had some difficulty at first, but i finally figured out some neat tricks to help me complete all the missions.
