PS4 Games that need their own individual forums Thread

I've updated the list completely through 8/24/2013. I may have missed one or two but it should be very much up to date now.

The topic is "Games that need their own individual forum" but it seems all PS4 games are being added. Do we really need so many new sub forums? How many will actually have more than a few topics in them?

I still think we should dedicate one sub forum per franchise, not per game.
Soon the PS4 games forum will be a huge mess.

Also too many sub-forums reduce activity in those areas.

Id rather sub forums than one whole forum but yes, over time it will be to many.
Perhaps just sub forums for genre,or the most popular games, dunno.

You may have a better idea don,for eg all CoD games in one sub forum, all BF games. But what about all the one off's?
Not easy to please everyone all the time.
Whatever though,I defo dont want just one forum only, that 'was' a huge mess too until we reverted back.

Just wanted to let everybody know that we have now updated our forums so every title so far for the PS4 has their own sub-forum :) Even added some titles from E3 that have been announced.

for one offs we can leave them as they are now. but I think if we merge the franchises, it can reduce the sub-forum cluster.

I think for now we are keeping as is,but there will be a time when we may have to go a different route yes.

I did pitch this system to Oberon via PM and he suggested I post my suggested system on here for others to comment.

My system is this:

If a subforum hasn't had a post within one or two months then it should be scrapped. However the condition is: The game must be released first as games coming out November 2015 won't be a hot topic and therefore the subforum will have little activity until nearer and after launch. However if the game has been released and one or two months have passed since the games release without a post then it should be removed.

Obviously you guys could decide on a time limit, my suggestion though would be one or two months.

In turn, this means only the popular subforums are kept present. The only disadvantage is if someone gets a game quite late on in its life cycle then they might not have a subforum but then again we do have a PS4 general games forum and that would do sufficiently.

The threads from the subforum that is being removed would be moved to the general gaming forum for PS4.

Appreciate the input Derri.

Personally I feel the sub-forums are fine at this time. I know some are not active at all, but who says it won't be in the near future. As far as games needing to be released first, part of the great things about forums is anticipating and sharing ideas and speculations about upcoming games - what you would like to see? Who would you like to see? etc.

We had this idea floating that I was fond of where only popular games would have sub-forums. For example: Call of Duty Series, Battlefield Series, Final Fantasy, etc. And by that I don't mean COD: Ghosts and Black Ops get their own sub-forums but the actual series in general (hope that makes sense)

My opinion is as I have already said, for now I think we are OK but there will be a time when there will be so many PS4 games and having many hundreds of game sub forums will just not be useful, will be messy and ugly.

Let's all keep an eye on this.

I do understand where you're coming from. I did say that obviously we should wait until after a game is released to start the timer so to speak.

This is exactly my thoughts. Right now and maybe until the end of 2014 it might be okay to have new subforums as new games are announced but eventually this forum will overrun with subforums and it'll look messy and uncoordinated and eventually people won't bother trying to navigate and find their particular game.
