Activision will not restore you're stolen stats

So I hadn't heard about this so maybe you Call of Duty owners can enlighten us. But from what I've read apparently if you've been playing COD: Ghosts there are people who have gotten their stats stolen by hackers. Activision has responded stating that they will not restore these stats and that there is nothing they can do about it, so sad day for you.

Activision Talks COD: Ghosts stolen stats

There are always low life hackers out there who have nothing better to do.
Anyway,havent come across this yet,AFAIK.On PS3 anyway.

btw: Ive no tolerance for boosters or hackers.Boosters only cheat themselves and by boosting you are only making the game boring quicker.

I don't really get why hackers do things like this? What did they won?
Anyways, I feel really bad for the people who already spent some considerable time on the game, and now every thing's gone...

Hackers are always trying to prove something or trolling for the sake of trolling. Sure these guys might get caught, but then you'll just have new hackers to replace them. I wish Activision would do the right thing though and restore these people's stats. By not restoring the stolen stats it's punishing the victims.

Wow, you can get banned just for entering a banned server. What if you accidentally get placed into one? IW should really get their "stuff" together.

They said if you knowingly go into a banned server via Invite. If you get randomly placed in one they will be able to tell that. I got placed into a hacked lobby in MW2 back when it was the current CoD and killed one person and went up 5 high levels. I backed out but the damage was done and I spoke to the support and they said as long as I wasn't aware it was hacked then I would be fine.

That's what happens when you grow to be so large, you forgot and don't care about the "little man." I say vote with your pockets and an online campaign, just like the one that made Microsoft reverse course on their DRM implementation. That's the only "voice" these corporations will listen to.
