Buying a new tv for PS4

There is no definitive answer. There are many things that play into your decision, such as the size you are looking for, distance you will be sitting from the display, ambient lighting abd budget. I use a Samsung Plasma that I bought for my PS3. The only thing it is used for is gaming. I still use it for my PS4 even though it is only 720P. With the PS3 ALL games were 720P native upscaled to 1080P. Which you tend to lose detail during the upscaling process. Due to the size of my display (43") and distance I sit while gaming (7-8') this display still works well. I may lose a bit of detail, but the picture still looks amazing. Plasmas also tend to have better refresh rates and deeper blacks. with fast action such as sports and i suspect some gaming you can get ghosting/artifacting with less than 240HZ if you go with LED or LCD. With the cost of tvs now, there is no reason to get less than 240HZ, just incase your usage for the tv changes.
