Did any of you buy a PS3 on Black Friday?

I am just curious but did any of you buy a PS3 on Black friday despite the release of PS4? If so then why? How much was it? Where did you buy it?

And finally, will you get the PS4?

I doubt that happened. But I bet quite a few people bought a PS4 on BF, I've seen some nice deals (even PS4 + Vita ones, and you get Killzon 4 or another great game with that bundle).
About that last question, I already did! But I'm waiting for it to arrive now, and I'm really hyped up, I can't wait haha.

I say some great deals on old gen consoles on black friday. I didn't purchase any because I already had them but it would have been a lot cheaper to get them then. I do plan on getting a PS4 and it should be here any day.

I just saw some awesome discounts for the previous consoles, but nothing too attractive for the new consoles. My main problem is that even if I buy a new console, the games aren't that good imo.
I'll probably get a PS4 next year when FFXV is released.

Back on Black Friday I got my cousin a PS3 for Christmas.

I totally would have if we had Black Friday here. Unfortunately, we don't, and PS3s here are mostly still at full price (around $270 for basic PS3 + 1 controller). If we had those insane deals and bundles I would have loved to buy one and I'd probably even buy another one to gift if the deal was good enough.

I got mostly PS3, 3DS, and Wii U stuff. I also got a few games for my nephew's PSP, but I've always felt the PSP was a bit advanced for a 5 year old unless you're monitoring them.

I didn't buy an extra PS3. I already had one and the PS4 is already out. I might as well save up for that instead of having two PS3s. I'm not going to lie, but it was tempting. I can't myself when things go on sale, especially games.

Since I'm from the UK we only had Black Friday sales in I think...one store (the first time we've done sales like that) and I didn't buy one as I already have one

Nah, PS4 is here there's no need for that. They need to get rid of them though so they discount them further.

I didn't buy mine on Black Friday. Believe it or not, I think that this was the first Christmas I hadn't bought a new console for Christmas. There were definitely game purchases made and a few accessories, but no consoles this year. Maybe the PS4 will be on sale by next Christmas, making it a sure fire candidate for the christmas short list for 2014.
